1/8" Acrylic Powder Stencils for Fused Glass

Create crisp, clean glass powder designs—without the shaky-hand frustration.

AAE Glass 1/8" Thick Acrylic Powder Stencils are designed specifically for artists working with fusible glass powders. Unlike thin craft stencils, these substantial acrylic stencils provide a deep, supportive edge that helps guide your sifter and contain your glass powder exactly where you want it.

Whether you're creating landscapes, abstract compositions, individual powder wafer elements, or layered fused glass artwork, these reusable powder stencils make it easier to achieve consistent, professional-looking results.

A Better Solution for Shaky Hands

Working with fine glass powder can be unforgiving. One small movement can send expensive powder outside your design and turn a clean shape into a frustrating mess.

The 1/8" thick acrylic construction creates a deeper working area that provides support and guidance while you're sifting. That extra depth gives you more room for error, making these stencils especially helpful for artists with shaky hands, limited hand stability, or anyone who simply wants more control when working with fine glass powders.

Built-In Lift Assist

Each stencil features our Lift Assist finger notches cut into both ends.

Once your powder is in place, simply use the notches to grip the stencil and carefully lift it straight away from the glass. The goal is simple: disturb the powder as little as possible so you're left with clean edges, defined shapes, and fantastic imagery ready for the kiln.

Two Ways to Create

Use glass powder sifters and the new stencils directly onto your glass or create powder wafer elements to use and stack in your glass compostion.

You can use the resulting shapes to:

  • Create scenic fused glass compositions and landscapes

  • Build layered backgrounds and design elements

  • Make individual glass powder wafers

  • Combine multiple stencil shapes into original compositions

  • Create elements that can be fired separately and incorporated into future fused glass projects

You're not locked into one finished design. The stencil creates the element—you decide how to use it.

Less Wasted Powder. Less Frustration. More Creating.

Fine glass powder isn't cheap, and constantly cleaning up misplaced powder wastes both material and time.

These thick acrylic powder stencils help keep powder contained within the intended design area, giving you greater control over placement and helping reduce unnecessary waste.

No more wasting powder and money. No more fighting for clean shapes. Just crisp, controlled powder imagery you can turn into your own fused glass art.

Protective Paper Coating

Your acrylic stencil arrives with a protective paper coating on both sides to help protect the acrylic surface during manufacturing and handling.

Removing the protective paper is optional. Leave it in place or peel it away depending on your personal preference and studio workflow.

Works With Any COE Glass Powder

Our acrylic powder stencils are not COE-specific. Because the acrylic stencil is used as a forming and placement tool and is removed before firing, you can use it with any COE of compatible fusible glass powder.

Simply select glass powder that is compatible with the glass system used in your project.
