It is easier to nip longer pieces of cane. This is a ONE-OF-A-KIND product and each batch (created by Renee Farr) will be a delightful mix of colors and designs shown. The picture is the exact amount you will receive and colors will vary from this batch of colors depending on which part of the cane you receive. Picture represents an example of (8) two inch pieces nipped into 1/8" slices. Designs will vary throughout the cane.
