Bullseye Light Cyan Opalescent Frit
Description
Contains
Copper
May React With
Selenium, Sulfur, Reactive
Cold Characteristics
Very slight orange-peel mottling.
Working Notes
At full fuse, capped or uncapped, the mottling disappears and the color is consistent, even and pure. At slumping temperatures and low-tack fusing temperatures (1150-1325°F/621-718°C), gray clouding may occur, similar to Steel Blue Opalescent especially where contamination from oils and/or cleaner is left behind during the cleaning process. Solution: cap this color with clear or test for each specific application. The clouding can be erased from an uncapped piece by capping with clear glass and firing to a full fuse.
Made from crushed, screened, and magnetically cleaned Bullseye Compatible sheet glass.
Frits are versatile and can be used in:
• Pâte de verre and kilncasting
• Kilnforming, including “glass sketch” and “painting with light” techniques
• Torchworking and blowing, to create colors and patterns on surfaces.
⚠️ Important Regarding Glass Sizing!
Bullseye is widely recognized for its sophisticated palette of harmonious colors. Most styles are available in two thicknesses: double-rolled 3 mm sheets and Thin 2 mm sheets. Due to the handcrafted nature of the product, dimensions are approximate.
