Paint arrive in powder form and are to be mixed with Glass Medium. Use a palette knife to mix. Glossy, semi-opaque mint green when applied in the traditional "puddle, push, pull" method. Mix 1:1 with Glass Medium then add a drop or two of water to allow color to flow. Use less Glass Medium to create a thicker paint and use a bamboo skewer to color in areas that are to be more opaque. Semi-transparent watercolor effects can be achieved by thinning with water and applying color allowing it to run or to disperse on the surface. Alternatively, you can sift the paints while in powder form to the fused glass surface. There is lots of experimentation to be done with these paints! It is a very versatile product. Firing is cone 016 or from 1490F to 1525F in a ceramic or a glass kiln. Unique Glass Colors hold their color to a much higher temperature when used on ceramic or porcelain bisque. Paints may be capped or uncapped. Test your paints first to see which look you prefer.
